The conference aims to update agrochemical professionals with the latest federal requirements and initiatives, and will provide information on novel approaches for conducting both human and environmental risk assessments. By working with CropLife America the organisers aim to bring together all the main stakeholders in order to provide an open forum where attendees will have access to key information and a unique opportunity to meet face-to-face with key industry and government personnel in order to debate current issues. The two day agenda covers the biggest challenges faced by those working in regulatory affairs in Europe. Expert speakers from the European Commission, European Food Safety Authority and 10 Member States will provide attendees with the latest information and practical advice. 20 May - 60th International Symposium on Crop Protection Ghent University, Ghent, Belgium 9-11 June - World Biofuels Forum 2008 at the Prague Congress Centre. The Forum brings together an international audience of senior decision makers across the whole Biofuel value chain. The 2008 Biofuels event will cover key issues, challenges and opportunities within global Biofuels markets, thus providing an unrivalled opportunity for attendees to stay abreast of latest developments within this competitive industry. 11-12 June - Cereals 2008 - This popular annual arable event incorporates Sprays & Sprayers and is organised by Haymarket Business Exhibitions in association with ADAS, the East of England Agricultural Society, Farmers Weekly, HGCA, Syngenta and Velcourt. In 2008 Cereals will be held at Heath Farm, Leadenham, Lincolnshire. 'Cereals' is the leading technical event for the UK arable industry; the place to do business - 67 ha of stands and live demonstrations, 350 leading suppliers offering a complete one-stop service; from seeds to sprayers, crop varieties to cultivation equipment, fertiliser to finance and some 21,000 professional farmers. 19-21October - AgrochemEx is an annual agrochemical conference and exhibition organised by the China Crop Protection Industry Association (CCPIA) in Nanjing, China. The 2007 event attracted 300 plus exhibitors and more than 12000 visitors from home and abroad. the concurrently held events such as the China Agrochemical Symposium, China International Forum on Procurement and Service of Crop Protection Products were attended by policy-makers, producers, R&D institutes and international trade. 3- 5 November - The BCPC Crop Science and Technology Congress is the annual meeting place for the global crop protection industry. It includes the leading trade exhibition for suppliers to the industry worldwide. Following the success of the 2007 BCPC Congress and the associated Commercial Seminars, attracting over 2000 attendees, BCPC will be organising a full 2.5 day programme of Seminars in 2008, sponsored by a range of organisations working alongside BCPC.
